Complaints handling
It is of course annoying if you have a complaint about the service as you experienced it. Nevertheless, we kindly ask you to send your complaint by e-mail to info(at)scheepvaartcenter.nl te sturen of telefonisch via +31 (0)10 26 80 934.
Our employees will review the complaint and try to resolve the complaint to everyone's satisfaction.

After receipt of your complaint you will receive a confirmation from us, we will answer your complaint within 14 days of receipt, if it needs more time, we will inform you.

If you do not appreciate this, you can always contact the mediation department of Stichting Webshop Keurmerk where ShippingCenter.nl is affiliated with. If, for any reason, the mediation attempt does not lead to a satisfactory solution, it is possible to submit your dispute to the Disputes Committee (SGC).

Disputes Committee
1. Agreements between the entrepreneur and the consumer to which these general terms and conditions apply are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
2. Disputes between the consumer and the entrepreneur regarding the conclusion or execution of agreements relating to products and services to be delivered or delivered by this entrepreneur, can, with due observance of the provisions below, be submitted by both the consumer and the entrepreneur to the Webshop Disputes Committee, PO Box 90600, 2509 LP in The Hague (www.sgc.nl).
3. A dispute will only be dealt with by the Disputes Committee if the consumer has first submitted his complaint to the entrepreneur within a reasonable time.
4. No later than three months after the dispute has arisen, the dispute must be submitted in writing to the Disputes Committee.
5. If the consumer wishes to submit a dispute to the Disputes Committee, the entrepreneur is bound by this choice. If the entrepreneur wishes to do so, the consumer will have to state in writing within five weeks after a written request to that effect by the entrepreneur whether he also wishes to do so or whether he wants the dispute to be handled by the competent court. If the entrepreneur is not informed of the consumer's choice within the period of five weeks, the entrepreneur is entitled to submit the dispute to the competent court.
6. The Disputes Committee makes a decision under the conditions as laid down in the regulations of the Disputes Committee. The decisions of the Disputes Committee are made by way of binding advice.
7. The Disputes Committee will not handle a dispute or will discontinue handling it if the entrepreneur has been granted a suspension of payments, has become bankrupt or has actually terminated its business activities before a dispute has been handled by the committee at the hearing and a final decision has been made.
8. If, in addition to the Webshop Disputes Committee, another recognized disputes committee or affiliated with the Stichting Disputes Committees for Consumer Affairs (SGC) or the Financial Services Complaints Institute (Kifid) is competent, the Webshop Disputes Committee is responsible for disputes mainly relating to the method of distance sales or service provision. exclusion is authorized. For all other disputes, the other recognized dispute committee affiliated with SGC or Kifid.

Right of withdrawal
When purchasing products, you have the option to dissolve the agreement without stating reasons during 14 days. This cooling-off period starts on the day after receipt of the product or an appointed designated representative. During the cooling-off period, you must handle the product and the packaging with care. You should only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to assess whether you wish to keep the product. If you make use of his right of withdrawal, you must return the product with all accessories supplied and – if reasonably possible – in its original condition and packaging, in accordance with the reasonable and clear instructions provided by us.
