LED navigation lamps consume extremely little power compared to normal incandescent lamps. Where normal incandescent lamps have a lifespan of approximately 1,000 to 1,500 burning hours, the LED lamp lasts up to 50,000 hours. An LED lamp is very shock resistant. A 3.5 Watt LED lamp replaces a 25 Watt incandescent lamp.
